The Blueprint
1. Purpose
To spread awareness that addiction is rooted in trauma and emotional pain, not just a disease. And that Sobriety is not so black and white, there’s definitely a grey area.
To help individuals coming out of rehab or who has been 14 days sober to reintegrate into society with supportive services.
2. What We Do
Provide trauma-informed recovery coaching with a somatic approach (treats both mind and body).
Offer a 4-week program with daily meetings with recovery coaches.
Connect participants to community activities like Muay Thai, Yoga, and Art- based on what they learn.
3. Who Runs It
Board of three people: President/Treasurer, Vice President/Secretary, and Director.
4. Funding
Gather funds through donations, local events, grants, and merchandise (swag).
5. Use of Funds
Hire or certify trauma-informed recovery coaches.
Build a website and create merchandise.
Help pay for community memberships-Dojo (Muay Thai Academy), Yoga Studio, Art Studio, Rec Center.
Plan to eventually open a safe sober space that contains a head space (community space) and zero-proof bar (non-alcoholic bar).
6. Goals
Short-term: Launch Sober Rebellion with 6 coaches, a website, and swag.
Long-term: Create a dedicated sober space for community gatherings.
